On August 17, 2023, SZABIST University, Islamabad, and Pakistan Red Crescent (PRCS) joined hands in a strategic partnership aimed at mutual growth and community betterment. Mr. Khusro Pervaiz Khan, Head of Campus , emphasized how the MoU holds immense importance as it intertwines education with practical humanitarian efforts. Mr. Khan also stated that through this collaboration, SZABIST University Islamabad is instilling in their students the values of social responsibility and community service. Dr. Shazia Akhtar, Head of Department (HoD) Management Sciences, focused on enhancing knowledge exchange, volunteerism, and community development. She further deliberated that SZABIST University will host PRCS personnel for training sessions, seminars, and conferences. Students will work as volunteers and Brand Ambassadors to raise awareness about PRCS initiatives. The MoU, a milestone collaboration between SZABIST University and PRCS, is a significant step in bridging the realms of education and humanitarian service.
