SZABIST (Islamabad) university is an HEC recognized university which is considered as a top university in Islamabad for its management programs. SZABIST (Islamabad) is considered as one of the best universities in Islamabad which offers an MS Degree (Equivalent to M. Phil) in Project Management. The objective of this program is to provide research-based project management education related to students’ fields of interest. SZABIST Islamabad provides the requisite skills and knowledge to its students, as this program paves the way to pursue doctoral studies.

SZABIST Islamabad has recognized that concentrated studies are a challenge for working professionals during regular weekdays therefore SZABIST Islamabad has designed MS in Project Management as a weekend program. The classes are offered on (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday) OR (Saturday and Sunday).

There are two academic streams available for MSPM in SZABIST Islamabad. The students are required to complete 8 courses and 2 Independent Research Studies (IRS), or a thesis, with a total of 30 credit hours as a part of Research based stream. Alternatively, students may opt for 30 credit hours of Coursework based stream by taking only 10 courses.

At the successful completion of the program requirements, students are awarded an MS Degree (Equivalent to M. Phil). MS (Project Management) is a best management program offered by SZABIST Islamabad as a top university in Islamabad and will continue to facilitate its students with the finest combination of teaching facility and learning environment.

The maximum time limit to complete the MS degree is four years.

Eligibility
  • For admission in the MSPM program, the applicant must possess a minimum of 16 years of education/4-year Bachelor/Master degree with a minimum of 2.0 CGPA or a minimum 50% marks from an HEC recognized university. Candidates are also required to pass GAT General/HAT relevant with a minimum 50% score.

Degree Requirements

  • Completed 30 credit hours.
  • Maintained minimum CGPA 2.75.
  • Completed core, compulsory, elective courses and Independent Studies (as applicable to a program).

Admission Test and Interview

All candidates need to clear the admission test and interview to qualify for admission.
Candidates with non-business undergraduate degrees are encouraged to start in our MPM program and then transfer to MS(PM) program under the “MPM-MS(PM) bridge track”.
Financial Assistance in the form of Teaching/ Research Associate ship is available to needy and meritorious students subject to availability. Candidates should apply early.
