NCFYP by Ignite – Visit

We’re delighted to share that our Head of Department, Professor Dr. Shazia Akhtar, along with our distinguished faculty members, Malik Aizaz Ahmad, Saba Butt & Muhammad Zahid Abbas from the Department of Management Sciences, represented SZABIST Islamabad on July 3rd 2024 at NCFYP, organized by Ignite – National Technology Fund under the Ministry of IT.

Professor Dr. Shazia Akhtar played a key role as a judge and participated in an engaging panel discussion on strategies for commercialization and entrepreneurship in today’s technological landscape. The discussion provided valuable insights into the integration of innovation and practical applications within both academia and industry.

Federal Secretary of IT, Capt. (Retd.) Muhammad Mahmood, graced the event ,who praised the efforts of all involved and highlighted the importance of such collaborative initiatives. The event also offered excellent networking opportunities with numerous industry professionals, furthering our commitment to bridging the gap between industry and academia.
