World Health Day Celebration 🌎
We are from Szabist University Islamabad campus BBA 1A
students, we whole class participated in today’s event which
was held under the supervision of Uzma Shehryar.
World Health Organization celebrates global health day every
year on 7th April worldwide to create awareness on the
benefits of being healthy. On this day numerous programs
and arrangements are curated by the World Health
Organization. World Health Day was the first time celebrated
worldwide in the year 1950. We enjoyed ourselves a lot and shared our
work with our university students as well as spread
awareness of the World Health Organisation ( WHO) through
displaying the work which we made in our class and we
explained to students what is World Health Day and it’s
importance and then we took photographs, we had fun
activity in our University.
• W.H.O’s mission is to promote health, keep the world safe and
serve the vulnerable, with measurable impact on people at the
country level.
• It works to improve access to essential medicines and health
products.
• train the health workforce and advise on labor policies.
• It focuses on women, and children’s health all over the world.
