A workshop on Research Grant Proposal Writing was held on Wednesday, 10th July 2024 at the SZABIST University Islamabad Campus. The primary objective of the session was to equip the Faculty of Management Sciences with the essential knowledge and practical skills required to prepare successful research grant proposals.

The workshop was conducted by Dr. Tahira Awan, Assistant Professor and Head of the Accounting and Finance Department at the International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI). Drawing on her academic and research expertise, Dr. Awan provided in-depth insights into crafting compelling proposals, structuring and presenting research ideas effectively, and understanding the strategic elements that contribute to successful funding applications. Her engaging and informative delivery helped participants develop a clearer understanding of the grant writing process.

Faculty members showed great enthusiasm during the session and actively engaged with the content. The workshop not only enhanced their proposal writing skills but also encouraged a more strategic approach to academic research and funding opportunities.

This initiative was organized by Dr. Iffat Rasool, Associate Professor and Head of the SIG – HRM Research Center at SZABIST Islamabad. The session reflects SZABIST’s ongoing commitment to academic excellence and the professional growth of its faculty through capacity-building programs.
