SZABIST Islamabad Celebrated Cultural Diversity Day

The Social Sciences Department celebrated under the supervision of Ms. Aliya Abdul Hayee (Program Manager BSSS) and Ms. Attieya Iqbal (Lecturer Anthropology) for creating understanding about the culturally diverse and peaceful environment for all. Students prepared and displayed their native cultural and sub-cultural thematic objects from Gilgit Baltistan, Balochistan, Khyber Pakhtoon khwa and Punjab. The event was inaugurated by the Head of Campus in the presence of the Social Sciences faculty.
This event helped the audience to recognize and respect “ways of being” that they necessarily do not own, and interact with others to build bridges to trust respect, and understanding across cultures.
