The Environment and Climate Change Society at SZABIST University Islamabad successfully organized a “Save the Environment” Signing Campaign as part of its Create Awareness Program, inspiring students, faculty, and staff to take collective action toward environmental protection and sustainable living.

The campaign was inaugurated by Khusro Pervaiz Khan, who encouraged participants to adopt environmentally responsible practices and emphasized the importance of individual and collective efforts in addressing climate change and protecting natural resources.

Students, faculty members, and staff enthusiastically participated by signing the environmental awareness board, pledging their commitment to protecting the environment, and supporting sustainable initiatives. The campaign attracted more than 150 participants, who also shared the message of environmental responsibility by capturing memorable moments at the awareness display.

As part of the initiative, the Environment and Climate Change Society also commemorated World Environment Day, organizing activities that reinforced the importance of environmental conservation, climate action, biodiversity protection, and sustainable lifestyles. The event encouraged meaningful engagement and highlighted the shared responsibility of individuals and communities in creating a cleaner and greener future.

The campaign served as an effective platform for raising awareness about environmental challenges while motivating students to become active advocates for sustainability within their communities. Through participation, collaboration, and public engagement, the initiative strengthened environmental consciousness and promoted responsible citizenship among the university community.

This event reflects SZABIST Islamabad’s continued commitment to environmental education, sustainability, and community engagement by empowering students to contribute positively toward national and global environmental goals.
