Ms. Nayyab Javed organized a guest speaker session on the topic “Islamic Banking in Pakistan” for the class of BSAF-4 . Dr. Sanaullah Ansari, was the speaker, who is a specialist in the field of Islamic Banking and Finance.
In conversation with the audience he gave an in-depth explanation of Islamic banking as well as an overview of Islamic finance. The session’s main topics included but weren’t limited to: the distinction between conventional and Islamic banking; various nations and their strategies for introducing Islamic banking; and an in-depth discussion of the subject with particular reference to Pakistan. Examples that followed these discussion topics included how western nations primarily rely on loans and credit terms and the drawbacks of this, as well as how these nations are embracing Islamic banking and its advantages. Other examples included the opening of divisions for Islamic banking and contract renewal at the IMF and the World Bank. The session kept the audience hooked till the end.
