Cultural Day at SZABIST Islamabad – Celebrating Diversity and Unity
On December 29th, 2022, SZABIST Islamabad celebrated Cultural Day. The event was organized by the students of BBA-1 section A & B and BSAF, under the guidance of Miss Uzma Shahryar. This day was dedicated to showcasing the cultural diversity of Pakistan. How students at SZABIST come from different parts of the country and bring with them unique cultural traditions.
The students donned traditional cultural attire, representing different regions of Pakistan, including Punjab, Sindh, Balochistan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and Gilgit-Baltistan. They brought with them a delicious spread of Pakistani cuisine, featuring popular dishes such as Karachi Biryani, Qabuli Palao, Kashmiri Chai, and Hunza Dirham Fitti.
The highlight of the event was the cultural performances by the students. They showed off their traditional dances to cultural music and songs, entertaining the faculty members and creating a lively atmosphere. The event was a celebration of unity in diversity and showcased how students at SZABIST come together to celebrate their cultural heritage.
The event ended on a high note with a group photo of all the students and faculty members, capturing the memories of this wonderful cultural celebration. Cultural Day at SZABIST Islamabad was a day of joy, friendship, and unity, and we hope that such events continue to take place in the future to bring students together and celebrate our cultural diversity.
