COMHEC 2022: The 5th Inter-University Computer Hardware Exhibition
On December 28, 2022, SZABIST Islamabad hosted the 5th episode of the Inter-university Computer Hardware Projects Exhibition, COMHEC 2022. The faculty of Computing and Engineering Sciences organized this competition. It brought together students from 26 universities across Pakistan to showcase their hardware projects.
The competition aimed to encourage students to highlight the importance of their hardware projects and provide a platform for them to showcase their skills and knowledge. It was a great opportunity for the students to network with other students from different universities and learn from each other.
The competition was a huge success, with students presenting projects ranging from embedded systems, Internet of Things (IoT), and robotics. A panel of experts from the field of computing and engineering evaluated the projects. The judges were impressed by the creativity and innovation displayed by the students.
The winner of the competition was SZABIST Islamabad University, who took home the first prize. CECOS University and Abasyn University won the second prize, while Isra University and COMSATS Wah won the third prize.
The competition provided a platform for the students to showcase their projects. It also helped to cultivate a culture of innovation and entrepreneurship among the students. It was a great opportunity for the students to get hands-on experience with hardware projects. Also, to develop a deeper understanding of the field.
