Aim of Seminar

To explore the emerging trends in business strategy (corporate, business unit, and functional). What are the opportunities and challenges that these trends offer and how organization should respond?

The seminar had two sessions. During the first session, speakers highlighted the emerging trends in strategy. This was followed by questions / answers session.

Learning Outcomes

The seminar offered meaningful insight into emerging scenarios and the need for organization strategy’s agility to respond to these trends for competitiveness. The intellectually stimulating questions / answers session made a useful contribution in enhancing students understanding about the themes.

The seminar also provided opportunity to students to interact and learn from organizational and experts’ experiences with regarding to changing dynamics of strategy. It was a good learning experience that enhanced students’ understanding about the future environments and how these are shaping organizational strategic responses for sustainable effectiveness.

The seminar also offered opportunity to students to organize such an event in a befitting manner. The experience improved their expertise in planning and executing an academic event at institution level as a member of team.
