Objective and Learning Outcomes
The purpose of this training session, organized for MSBA (1A) students enrolled in “Research Methodology” course, was to equip students with the knowledge and skills required to effectively download and manage research data. The session aimed to provide students with hands-on experience using the London Stock Exchange Group Workspace, an essential tool for acquiring and handling reliable data in business analytics research. By participating, students gained practical insights into data extraction techniques, preparing them for data-driven research projects and enabling them to utilize data effectively for thesis work and other research activities.
Trainer’s Profile
The session was facilitated by Dr. Sumaira Chamadia, PhD, Assistant Professor and Cluster Head of Accounting and Finance at SZABIST University, Karachi. Dr. Chamadia brings a wealth of experience in financial data analysis, portfolio management, and academic research. Her expertise allowed students to learn valuable skills for navigating complex financial databases.
