MS (Social Sciences)

SZABIST offers the MS Degree (M.Phil equivalent) leading to a Ph.D Degree in Social Sciences in the specialized fields of Economics, International Relations, Sociology and Clinical Psychology.

MS can be completed during the evenings in 1.5 year after the four year Bachelor or a Master degree. A total of 30 credit hours must be completed

Eligibility:

For admission in MS SS (International Relations, Economics, Sociology) program, candidates must possess 16 years of relevant education with minimum 2nd Division/2.0 CGPA from a university recognized by HEC. The candidate who do not have relevant degree in related disciplines, have to complete deficiency courses. The relevancy of the degree and number of deficiency courses will be determined on case to case basis by the Program Manager. GAT (General) or HAT relevant with minimum 50% score or GRE with minimum 300 score is mandatory requirement for MS students.
