SZABIST Islamabad, a leading educational institution, hosted a dynamic Job Fair on May 9, 2023. The event was a grand success, with 63 renowned companies from diverse sectors. There were telecom, media, tech, marketing, finance, and Multinational Corporations participating. The Job Fair offered a unique opportunity for students to connect with industry leaders, explore career paths, and seek job opportunities.
The event started with an inaugural session with Chief Guest/Guest Speaker, Mr. Ejaz Ahmed Qadri, an accomplished entrepreneur. He is an architect serving as the Managing Partner and Principal Architect at Qadri Associates, who shared his valuable insights on ‘the idea of success’ with the students. Mr. Qadri spoke about the importance of passion, determination, and hard work in achieving success and inspired students to follow their dreams.
In addition, a Job Fair Forum was organized, featuring a panel of three industry experts, including Mr. Amees Ahmed (Group EVP Marketing (DFS) at Ufone). Mr. Naveed Aziz (Governance Adviser for the British High Commission, UK.), and Mr. Adil Omar (Performance & Improvement Manager at Ericsson – Middle East & Africa). These professionals, with their diverse backgrounds and extensive experience, provided valuable counseling to the students. They shared their insights on current industry trends, career opportunities, and tips on how to excel in the job market.
