SZABIST University Islamabad proudly celebrates a remarkable achievement by Dr. Danish Mahmood, Associate Professor in the Faculty of Computing and Engineering Sciences, who has been included in the prestigious Stanford/Elsevier Top 2% Scientist List.
This internationally recognized ranking identifies the most influential researchers worldwide based on standardized citation metrics derived from Scopus data. The list evaluates both career-long research impact and single-year performance across 22 scientific disciplines and 174 subfields, making it one of the most respected indicators of global research excellence and scholarly influence.
In recognition of this outstanding accomplishment, the Higher Education Commission (HEC) Pakistan organized a special ceremony to honor distinguished Pakistani scientists and researchers. During the ceremony, Dr. Danish Mahmood received a Certificate of Recognition from Dr. Niaz Ahmed Akhtar, Chairman HEC, acknowledging his significant research contributions and academic service.
