BBA-5 (TRIP to “Public News TV”)

The department of “Management Sciences” organized an educational trip on 18 November 2019 for the students of BBA-5 enrolled in the course of “Media Management” to the regional headquarters of “Public News TV” news channel in sector G-5 Islamabad, accompanied by their instructor Mr. Syed Shahwar Hussain. The educational trip was to provide a platform for our business students to gain a deep understanding of the electronic media, planning, operation, execution, and management of their news content.

The information session was organized and held by Mr. Safdar, Mr. Harmeet Singh, Mr.Faisal and M/s Ayesha at Public News TV. The team briefed about the working of different media organizations, regulatory affairs and the changing dynamics of media trends along with the question and answer session which imparted practical knowledge to the students which they can incorporate into their final semester project and future as well. This activity enabled the students to gain knowledge and a clear picture of the rules, regulations, and dynamics that the media channel goes through in handling the media content.
