Mr. Raja is regularly invited by SZABIST for delivering a talk related to Personal Management to the incoming class of BBA. He is a very good orator and talks in the language easily grasped and understood by the students. This time he talked about “Setting Life Time Goals and How to Achieve the same”, including to refrain from drugs and bad company. Mr. Raja started with his personal example of spending first 30 years of his life with the aim of enjoying and merry-making.
A fatal accident, in which he luckily escaped, changed the course of his life. Here He gave the reference of the first habit from book, The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People by Stephan Covey-“Begin with the End in Mind”. He advised the students to think in future and decide what they wanted to be. His emphasis was to take guidance from the Holy Book and Life of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him).
He cautioned the audience to take care of the health as nothing can be achieved by a sick body or mind. Mr. Raja also advised the students to refrain from drugs and alcohol, as these adversely affect the life of the individual as well as his near and dear ones. His talk culminated at the 7th Habit-“Sharpen the Saw” and told the students to keep reviewing and improving various aspects of life. Mr. Raja kept the students engaged by interactive talk, inviting questions and discussion on various points. Approximately over 100 students and faculty members of BBA attended the lecture.
