SZABIST University Islamabad proudly highlights the participation of Dr. Arooj Mujeeb, Faculty of Social Sciences, at the Pakistan Reading and Learning Festival 2025, held at Lok Virsa, Islamabad.

Dr. Arooj Mujeeb was invited as one of the 12 distinguished resource persons/trainers from across Pakistan to conduct a specialized training session titled “Neurodiversity: A Teacher Action Plan” at the Exhibition Hall.

The training session engaged students and teachers from various government schools, focusing on strengthening inclusive educational practices and enhancing awareness around neurodiversity in classroom settings.

Key Learning Outcomes

Participants gained valuable insights into:

• Understanding diversity and neurodiversity

• Identifying different types and manifestations of neurodiversity

• Practicing constructive classroom communication

• Recognizing the need for effective referral systems for neurodiverse learners

The session featured interactive discussions, short video clips, and an engaging Q&A segment, encouraging meaningful dialogue between educators and learners.
