SZABIST Islamabad proudly participated in the International Conference on Building Sustainable Cities (ICRE 2025), hosted by the Department of Accounting & Finance at NUML Islamabad from December 2–4, 2025. The conference brought together academics, researchers, and policy experts to discuss sustainability-driven solutions for urban development.

Faculty members from the Department of Management Sciences represented SZABIST Islamabad with distinction. Dr. Hassan Raza, Head of Research Center, and Dr. Shumaila Zeb, Associate Professor, were invited as Discussants in Session 2 titled “Financing Sustainable Real Estate Futures,” where they contributed expert perspectives on green finance, climate-resilient investments, and sustainable urban growth.

Through the efforts of Dr. Hassan Raza and the Research Center, Management Sciences, SZABIST Islamabad also served as a Strategic Knowledge Partner for this prestigious international conference, reinforcing its commitment to research collaboration, policy engagement, and academic excellence. Additionally, several SZABIST faculty members presented research papers across multiple sessions, highlighting the department’s strong research culture and interdisciplinary contributions.
