Students of MBA – Finance for Managers and BBA – Financial Markets and Institutions from SZABIST University Islamabad participated in an educational industrial visit to the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP) under the supervision of Mr. Muhammad Naeem, Faculty Member, Management Sciences Department.

The visit provided students with practical exposure to the functioning of Pakistan’s capital markets and enhanced their understanding of the role of SECP in regulating and supervising the country’s financial sector. During the session, students explored important areas including capital market operations, investor protection, financial regulations, compliance frameworks, and transparency in financial reporting.

Industry experts at SECP shared valuable insights into regulatory mechanisms and the importance of maintaining accountability and ethical standards within financial institutions and capital markets. The interaction enabled students to better understand how regulatory bodies contribute to financial stability and investor confidence.
