The Department of Management Sciences at SZABIST Islamabad organized the Integrated Marketing Communications (IMC) Exhibition 2025 on May 20, 2025. The event featured final projects by BBA (Open) students, developed under the supervision of Mr. Syed Shahwar Hussain. This year’s theme focused on “Enhancing the Corporate Image of SZABIST.”
The exhibition was inaugurated by Mr. Khusro Pervaiz Khan, Head of Campus, who commended the students for their creativity and professional approach. A panel of marketing and academic experts — Dr. Muhammad Asif Khan, Dr. Shumaila Zeb, Dr. Fuwad Bashir, Mr. Aziz Ahmed, and Mr. Shahid Jahangir Raja — evaluated the projects based on strategy, design, and campaign execution.
Faculty members, program managers, and students attended the exhibition, witnessing a dynamic display of advertising concepts and media planning. The purpose of the exhibition was to help students apply IMC tools learned during the course to design cohesive and impactful advertising campaigns.
Students presented detailed media plans, showcasing their ability to handle real-world marketing challenges. Their campaigns included corporate documentaries, newspaper ads, brochures, flyers, standees, and billboards, demonstrating creativity and strategic thinking.
The jury and guests appreciated the students’ efforts, recognizing their innovative approach and attention to detail. The exhibition offered valuable insights into the real-life complexities of advertising — from campaign planning and creative design to execution. It also gave students a clear understanding of the roles that marketing managers, creative directors, content writers, and technical teams play in professional advertising environments.
