Entrepreneurship is the act of creating a business while building and scaling it to generate a profit. Studying entrepreneurship benefits students and learners from different social and economic backgrounds because it teaches people to cultivate unique skills and think outside the box. Moreover, it creates opportunity, instills confidence, ensures social justice and stimulates the economy.
As part of SZABIST Islamabad’s vision and mission, the inaugural ceremony of ZAB Entrepreneurial week was organized on 25th November 2019 to familiarize students with the essence of entrepreneurship. Mr. Kashif Joseph was the chief guest of the event Mr. Kashif Joseph is an IT professional with over 18 years of experience. He is also an entrepreneur himself, leading a BPO and a business consultancy.
To develop an understanding regarding the concept of ‘student entrepreneurs’, some of the successful student entrepreneurs from BBA-5 and BBA-8 also shared brief presentations on how they have engaged in entrepreneurial activities, along with simultaneously manage their studies. They also provided guidance to other students on ways to initiate, plan and execute new ideas in the future.
