SZABIST Islamabad’s EMBA/MBA–2 (Business Finance) students participated in an informative industrial visit to Heavy Industries Taxila (HIT) as part of their experiential learning initiative. The visit was led by Muhammad Ali Khan, Lecturer in Finance & Accounting, and expertly organized by Brigadier (Rtd.) Riyazatullah Bhatti, ensuring a well-structured and impactful learning experience.

During the visit, students gained first-hand exposure to defense manufacturing and production processes, managerial operations, strategic decision-making, and real-world industry applications. Meaningful engagement with professionals at HIT enabled students to better understand operational efficiency, production systems, and strategic management within the defense sector.

The visit concluded with a graciously hosted lunch, offering students an opportunity to network, reflect, and discuss key insights gained during the session. This industrial visit successfully bridged classroom learning with practical industry exposure, enhancing students’ understanding of finance, strategy, and management in a complex industrial environment.
