SZABIST Islamabad conducted an engaging Communication Skills Session  for BSBA OCPS and EWS first-year students. The session was led by Ms. Farrah Khawaja, Lecturer and Content Manager, and focused on strengthening students’ confidence, clarity, and professional communication abilities.

Students presented their understanding in a formal and structured manner while exploring essential communication concepts, including apprehension and stage fright, emotional intelligence and constructive feedback, conflict resolution and active listening, as well as public speaking and confidence building. The session successfully blended theoretical knowledge with practical learning.

Key highlights included identifying communication barriers, overcoming apprehension, enhancing emotional intelligence, developing effective listening skills, and building confidence for professional interactions. The activity aimed to empower students with effective communication strategies, foster critical thinking and self-awareness, and encourage the practical application of communication skills in real-life and professional settings.
