On 30th September 2025, SZABIST Islamabad hosted an Awareness Seminar on Cardiac Health to promote student well-being and a heart-healthy lifestyle. Organized by the Wellness and Health Society (led by Ms. Sana Mukhtar) and the Community Services & Social Responsibility Society (led by Dr. Iffat Rasool) in collaboration with Shifa International Hospital, the seminar offered practical insights for preventing cardiovascular diseases.

Dr. Asad Akbar, Chief of Cardiology at Shifa International Hospital, shared key strategies for young adults to protect their heart health. He emphasized the importance of balanced diet, regular exercise, and stress management in reducing the risk of heart problems.

The interactive session allowed students to ask questions and receive practical guidance for daily heart-healthy habits. The seminar concluded with a strong message: awareness, self-care, and collective responsibility are essential for a healthier future.
