The Department of Management Sciences at SZABIST University Islamabad organized a Canva Poster Design Competition for BBA–1A students, under the supervision of Mr. Syed Shahwar Hussain.

The competition provided a creative platform for students to showcase Pakistan’s most pressing environmental and social challenges through innovative digital expression. Using Canva design tools, students demonstrated creativity, visual storytelling, and critical thinking by transforming complex societal issues into impactful poster designs.

The exhibition highlighted students’ growing digital design skills and their ability to communicate meaningful messages through visuals. Dr. Shumaila Zeb, Program Manager BBA, attended the event and highly appreciated the students’ talent, dedication, and creative efforts. She commended the initiative for nurturing creativity alongside business education and reinforcing SZABIST Islamabad’s reputation as an inspiring academic environment for future professionals.

Aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 04 – Quality Education, the activity strengthened students’ creative capacities, technological literacy, and problem-solving abilities, enabling them to apply classroom learning to real-world contexts.

The Poster Design Competition proved to be a successful experiential learning activity, encouraging innovation, digital competence, and socially responsible thinking among first-year BBA students.
