On October 30, 2025, the Community Service and Social Responsibility Society, together with the Wellness and Health Society at SZABIST University Islamabad, organized a powerful Breast Cancer Awareness session in collaboration with Shifa Hospital Islamabad. The event was held under the guidance of Dr. Iffat Rasool and Ms. Sana Mukhtar.

Dr. Nimra, Consultant at Shifa Hospital Islamabad, delivered an engaging session highlighting the importance of early detection, regular screening, and self-examination in preventing and managing breast cancer. The discussion encouraged open conversations on women’s health, addressing social taboos, and promoting preventive care.

Students actively participated, learning about symptoms, risk factors, and the significance of emotional support for patients and survivors. Many attendees shared that the session inspired them to become health advocates within their families and communities.

Through this initiative, SZABIST reinforced its commitment to health education, community service, and social responsibility, empowering students to promote wellness and awareness in society.
