The Community Services and Social Responsibility Society at SZABIST Islamabad organized a Blood Donation and Thalassemia Screening Camp  in collaboration with the Sundas Foundation. The initiative aimed to promote voluntary blood donation, raise awareness about thalassemia, and provide free blood screening tests to support early detection and preventive healthcare within the university community.

The camp successfully collected blood units to support patients suffering from thalassemia and other blood-related disorders, while also offering thalassemia screening tests to participants. This effort directly contributed to life-saving treatments and enhanced awareness regarding genetic blood disorders and the importance of regular health screening.

Students participated with great enthusiasm, demonstrating empathy, civic responsibility, and a strong commitment to humanitarian values. The initiative fostered community engagement and encouraged students to actively contribute to meaningful social causes, reflecting SZABIST Islamabad’s dedication to social responsibility and student well-being.
