Companies use vast amounts of our planet’s resources, which has huge impacts. It is critical that sustainability is at the core of their sourcing, production, and distribution to make sure the world we live in continues to be habitable for all, not just a few. Sustainable and green business ideas combine our commitment to the environment with our goal of starting a business. Beyond that, they also deliver on revenue and profit. Purchasing trends are showing that people prioritize environmental impact when buying. A study by Nielsen revealed that 66% of global consumers are willing to pay more for sustainable products. This gravitation towards companies that share our interest in protecting the planet comes at a time when the choice is becoming more and more urgent.

Keeping this in view, a project simulation was conducted by the students of BBA 4 (A & B) as a part of their semester-long project on Retail Management under the supervision of Dr. Arusa Khalid. Students welcomed their evaluators, Mr. Syed Shahwar Hussain and Ms. Saima Saleem, and briefed them about their sustainable and eco-friendly retail plans and appreciated their feedback. Program Manager Dr. Shumaila Zeb showed full support, and worthy HOC Mr. Khusro Pervaiz Khan appreciated the students’ efforts.
