To promote a safe, respectful, and inclusive campus environment, SZABIST University Islamabad organized an Anti-Harassment Awareness Session for newly admitted BSCS students from the Department of Computing and Robotics.

The session focused on key areas including responsible citizenship, sensible use of social media, awareness of the University Anti-Harassment Committee, and SZABIST’s zero-tolerance policy toward drug abuse and extremism. Students were also introduced to available academic support systems, including the Wellness Clinic, which provides community outreach and psychological support services.

The session was conducted by Dr. Aliya Abdul Hayee (Program Manager, MS Clinical Psychology), who encouraged students to uphold the principles of respect, integrity, and inclusivity throughout their academic journey. She also emphasized the importance of maintaining ethical behavior, responsible digital engagement, and mutual respect within the university community.

Such initiatives highlight SZABIST Islamabad’s continued commitment to creating a supportive and secure learning environment, ensuring that students feel safe, respected, and empowered to grow both academically and personally.
