Islamabad, October 2026: Students of the Media Sciences Department at SZABIST University Islamabad visited Radio Pakistan, Islamabad, under the supervision of Ms. Asma Javed, for an educational tour focused on exploring professional radio broadcasting operations.

The delegation was welcomed by Station Manager Mr. Imran Javed, who introduced the students to Radio Pakistan’s history, operational structure, and significant role in the country’s media landscape.

During the visit, students explored different sections of the station and observed various broadcasting activities. They gained insights into the production processes, coordination, and teamwork required to prepare and broadcast radio programmes.

The visit offered students first-hand exposure to a professional broadcasting environment and helped them understand how a national radio station operates behind the scenes.

This practical learning experience connected academic concepts with industry practices, giving students a broader understanding of radio production and the professional responsibilities involved in broadcasting.
