Islamabad, October 2026: Students of the Media Sciences Department at SZABIST University Islamabad visited Saut-ul-Quran and FM 101 at Radio Pakistan, Islamabad, under the supervision of Ms. Asma Javed.

The visit provided students with an opportunity to explore different dimensions of radio broadcasting and understand how radio serves diverse audiences through specialized programming and communication.

At Saut-ul-Quran, students explored the religious broadcasting environment and gained insights into the production and presentation of Quranic programmes. They learned about the role of radio in delivering religious content to listeners.

At FM 101, students were introduced to a dedicated transmission catering to diplomats and foreign audiences. They learned about programmes covering Pakistan’s diplomatic engagements, cultural festivals, economic developments, international affairs, and current issues.

The educational visit helped students understand the diverse role of radio in communication, particularly its contribution to international outreach, cultural exchange, and cross-cultural engagement.

The experience also connected classroom learning with practical broadcasting environments, allowing students to gain a broader understanding of radio programming and its role in shaping communication across different audiences.
