As part of its ongoing commitment to strengthening industry–academia collaboration, the Department of Management Sciences at SZABIST University Islamabad conducted a corporate outreach visit to IBEX Pakistan, Islamabad. The initiative aimed to create awareness about the university’s MBA and Executive MBA (EMBA) programs while promoting opportunities for professional growth, leadership development, and lifelong learning.

The faculty delegation was led by Shazia Akhtar, accompanied by Iffat Rasool and Muhammad Naeem.

During the interactive session, Prof. Dr. Shazia Akhtar presented an overview of the MBA and EMBA programs, highlighting their industry-oriented curriculum, experienced faculty, flexible learning pathways, and emphasis on leadership, innovation, strategic decision-making, and managerial excellence. She explained how the programs are designed to equip both aspiring and experienced professionals with the knowledge, skills, and competencies required to succeed in today’s dynamic business environment.

Participants also received detailed information regarding the program structure, admission process, and career opportunities associated with the MBA and EMBA programs. The discussion encouraged professionals to pursue higher education as a means of enhancing their leadership capabilities, expanding their professional networks, and accelerating career progression.
