MS (International Relations)

SZABIST offers the MS Degree (M.Phil equivalent) leading to a Ph.D Degree in International Relations.

For the award of MS in International Relations, candidates will need to complete a total of 32 credit hours (including six credit hours of thesis).

Sixteen (16) years of education or four (04) years of BS Honors (with majors in international relations, political science, history, strategic studies, development studies and law as a major subject) or two (02) years bachelor (B.A./B.Sc. with political science, international relations, history, sociology and allied disciplines as a subject) and two (02) year’s Masters (M.A., M.Sc.) in political science, international relations, strategic studies, history, development studies, law or another related discipline) will be required for admission in the prescribed program.
Candidates will be required to pass the entry test and interview conducted by SZABIST-Islamabad, with minimum 60 marks along with GAT subject qualified.
The candidate with a non-relevant degree may also apply but will require to complete deficiency courses in consultation with the program manager as approved by the academic council.
