The Department of Management Sciences at SZABIST University Islamabad organized an experiential learning activity for MBA and EMBA students enrolled in the Operations and Supply Chain Management course through an industrial visit to CSD Mega Lalkurti.

The visit was designed to bridge the gap between classroom learning and real-world business operations by providing students with firsthand exposure to retail supply chain management practices. Participants observed the practical dynamics of retail operations, inventory management systems, procurement processes, and commercial activities within a large-scale retail environment.

Through direct interaction with industry professionals, students gained valuable insights into how supply chain and operations management principles are applied to ensure operational efficiency, product availability, and customer satisfaction. The visit enabled participants to understand the strategic importance of inventory control, procurement planning, and effective retail management in achieving organizational success.

During the session, students explored key operational processes, examined inventory management mechanisms, and learned about procurement strategies that support business performance and sustainability.
