The Department of Management Sciences at SZABIST University Islamabad successfully organized an insightful seminar titled “The Role of Personality in Talent Acquisition” for students of MS Management Sciences (MS-MS) and Master of Human Resource Management (MHRM). The seminar was organized by Dr. Fatima Ashraf and Dr. Muhammad Faisal to enhance students’ understanding of modern talent acquisition strategies, recruitment trends, and workforce development practices.
The session featured Javed Iqbal Khan, Corporate Trainer at the Centre of Excellence in Executive Development (CECOS University), as the guest speaker. Drawing upon his extensive professional experience, he shared valuable insights into the role of personality assessment, behavioral profiling, and communication skills in effective recruitment and selection processes.
During the seminar, students explored how organizations utilize personality profiling tools to assess candidate-job fit, predict workplace behavior, improve hiring decisions, and support long-term employee success. The discussion also highlighted the growing significance of effective communication, candidate engagement, employer branding, and digital recruitment strategies in today’s competitive talent landscape.
Through interactive discussions and real-world examples, participants gained exposure to emerging trends in talent acquisition, innovative assessment methodologies, and technology-driven recruitment practices that are transforming the field of human resource management.
