As part of Professional Development Week 2026, SZABIST University Islamabad successfully organized its third preparatory session, focusing on professional CV writing and interview readiness for the upcoming Job Fair. The session was designed to equip Computer Science students with the essential career development skills needed to succeed in today’s competitive employment market.

The session was conducted by Fawad Hanif, HR Head at the National AIDS, TB & Malaria Program under the Ministry of Health. Drawing upon his extensive experience in human resource management and recruitment, he shared valuable insights into hiring processes, workplace professionalism, employer expectations, and effective strategies for long-term career growth.

Participants gained practical knowledge on developing impactful and professional CVs, preparing for interviews, communicating confidently with employers, and presenting themselves effectively in professional environments. The interactive session enabled students to better understand industry recruitment standards while strengthening their employability and career readiness skills.

The event provided an excellent platform for students to engage with an experienced HR professional, ask questions about recruitment practices, and gain a deeper understanding of what employers seek in potential candidates. Through practical guidance and real-world examples, students were encouraged to approach future career opportunities with greater confidence and professionalism.

The session was organized by Student Career Services & Alumni Relations in collaboration with the SZABIST Alumni Global Association (SAGA), reflecting SZABIST University Islamabad’s continued commitment to career development, industry engagement, and preparing students for successful professional careers.
