MBA students from SZABIST University Islamabad, accompanied by Prof. Dr. Shazia Akhtar, participated in an insightful industrial visit to the Regional Office of TCS Pakistan.
During the visit, students engaged in an interactive panel discussion with the Director and senior management team of TCS Pakistan. The session provided valuable insights into contemporary human resource and operational challenges within the logistics industry.
Key discussion areas included Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO), fair recruitment practices, KPI-based performance appraisal systems, employee engagement, talent management, workplace diversity, HR automation, and maintaining work-life balance in fast-paced operational environments.
The leadership team at TCS also shared their experiences in managing operational complexities across multiple provinces while leading a workforce of more than 14,000 employees nationwide. Students learned how strong organizational culture, employee-focused policies, and continuous professional development contribute to operational excellence and sustainable workforce management.
The industrial visit proved to be a highly valuable experiential learning opportunity for MBA students, enabling them to connect classroom knowledge with real-world business practices in logistics, human resource management, and organizational leadership.
This initiative reflects SZABIST Islamabad’s commitment to industry-oriented education and preparing students for professional success through practical exposure and engagement with leading organizations.
