Students of BSAF at SZABIST University Islamabad participated in an engaging experiential learning activity titled “HR Chaos Game: Who Is to Blame?” as part of the Introduction to HRM course.
The activity immersed students in realistic workplace scenarios involving conflicting perspectives, incomplete information, missed deadlines, client dissatisfaction, and team conflicts. Taking on the role of HR professionals, students were challenged to investigate accountability issues and determine responsibility for a troubled organizational project.
Through this interactive learning experience, students explored the practical complexities of performance management, employee evaluation, accountability, and promotion-related decision-making. The session encouraged participants to apply critical thinking, analytical reasoning, teamwork, and effective problem-solving skills in dynamic workplace situations.
The activity highlighted the importance of balanced professional judgment and strategic HR decision-making in modern organizations, helping students connect theoretical human resource management concepts with real-world applications.
This experiential initiative reflects SZABIST Islamabad’s commitment to practice-oriented education and interactive learning methodologies that prepare students for professional challenges in the field of human resource management and organizational leadership.
