SZABIST University Islamabad successfully concluded Week 1 of the FinTech Certification Program on August 2–3, marking a strong and impactful start to this industry-focused learning initiative.

The opening session and program overview were delivered by Dr. Raazia Gul, setting the foundation for understanding the scope and objectives of the FinTech certification. Participants then explored the FinTech Value Chain with Dr. Saqib Mehmood, gaining insights into the evolving digital financial ecosystem.

The technical dimension of FinTech was covered through hands-on sessions, including FinTech Product Development through JavaScript by Capt. Engr. Hassan Kamran, and Financial Tools & Analytics using Python by Dr. Hassan Raza, focusing on the pure financial and analytical aspects of FinTech.

Week 1 provided participants with a strong conceptual and technical base, combining financial theory with practical technology-driven applications. The active engagement of participants and expert-led sessions made the kickoff both impactful and enriching.
