Free Medical Camp & Cancer Awareness Session

The Wellness and Health Society and the Department of Social Sciences organized a free medical camp on 29th October 2025. The event was arranged in collaboration with Blue TV, Riphah International Hospital, and the Association of Health and Medical Organizations. It aimed to support students through timely health screenings and useful medical advice.

Students received free checkups, basic assessments, and guidance from healthcare professionals. The activity helped raise awareness about healthy living, early detection, and the importance of routine medical care.

A special cancer awareness session was also held during the camp. Dr. Sadia Saba, Consultant General Surgeon at Riphah International Hospital, explained cancer risk factors, early symptoms, prevention methods, and why early diagnosis saves lives. Her discussion encouraged students to take their health seriously and stay informed.

This initiative aligns with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, including:

  • SDG 3 – Good Health & Well-Being

  • SDG 4 – Quality Education (Health Awareness)

  • SDG 17 – Partnerships for the Goals

The event played a key role in creating a healthier and more informed student community.
