Teach For Pakistan Orientation Session at SZABIST Islamabad
The Department of Social Sciences organized an engaging orientation session for final-year BS Social Sciences students, introducing the prestigious Teach For Pakistan Fellowship Program. The session took place on 22nd October 2025 and was facilitated by Ms. Minhail Tariq, Senior Associate for Recruitment and Selection.
Ms. Minhail briefed students on the two-year, paid leadership development fellowship that places exceptional graduates in government schools across underserved communities in Islamabad and Karachi. She explained how the Fellowship develops leadership skills by allowing participants to work directly with students, schools, and communities.
She emphasized that Teach For Pakistan is more than a teaching opportunity. It is a movement dedicated to building justice, hope, and equal opportunity through quality education. Fellows contribute at the grassroots level, empowering students and helping communities realize their potential.
Teach For Pakistan is part of the global Teach For All network, which operates in 62 countries committed to ensuring that every child receives access to quality education.
