On 1st August 2024, a Power BI Workshop SZABIST Islamabad was held at the university’s Islamabad campus. Organized by the Department of Management Sciences, this hands-on training was part of SZABIST’s ongoing Faculty Development Program and focused on equipping faculty and staff with essential business analytics skills.

The workshop introduced participants to Power BI, allowing them to learn how to clean, transform, and visualize data through dashboards and dynamic models. The goal was to help faculty members integrate analytical tools like Power BI into teaching, student supervision, and academic research, particularly in capstone projects and business data analysis.

Led by Mr. Syed Shahwar Hussain, a seasoned academic and industry expert with over 15 years of experience, the session provided practical strategies grounded in real-world applications. Mr. Hussain, a respected faculty member of the Management Sciences Department at SZABIST, specializes in Business Analysis, Digital Marketing, and Social Media Strategy.
