Pakistan and Azerbaijan, both countries are in a strong strategic and brotherly relation, our sorrows and happiness are shared. The countries are in collaborations in every segment of life. The cooperation between think-tank and Universities is very important too. Therefore, Department of Social sciences (Development Studies),  dedicated to the Day of Remembrance of January 20 martyrs in collaboration with the Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan in Pakistan, along with facilitation of the Institute of Regional Studies (IRS-Islamabad). The seminar was held on January 19, 2022 at IRS-Islamabad. Key speakers of the events were; H.E Mr. Khazar Fardohv, Ambassador of the Republic of Azerbaijan to Pakistan, Mr. Khusro Pervez Khan, Head of Campus, SZABIST, Islamabad, Ambassador Nadeem Riyaz; President of Institute of Regional Studies,Dr. Taraq Waheed Khan: Head of Social Sciences department. The event was successfully organized by Dr. Abdul Razzaq Khan Qureshi (Faculty member of Development Studies-SZABIST) and a Graduating student Mr. Zaman Bajwa.
