Students of Business Finance and Cost Management had an Industrial visit to Heavy Industries Taxila. Colonel Shaukat, Director of Budgets at the esteemed institution invited us on May 9th, 2024. Led by Mr. Muhammad Ali Khan and Dr. Sanaullah Ansari, the study tour offered a firsthand glimpse into the world of heavy machinery production.

Witnessing the manufacturing processes of Al-Khalid and Haider tanks, iconic symbols of Pakistan’s defense prowess, was truly awe-inspiring.  This hands-on experience brought our studies to life, reinforcing the importance of practical learning in our academic journey. Mr Muhammad Ali Khan, the Industrial Liaison Manager for Management Sciences at SZABIST Islamabad, has extended an invitation for industry-academia collaboration.

Such experiential learning opportunities are at the heart of SZABIST Islamabad’s teaching objectives, with the Management Sciences Department committed to providing hands-on experiences to students at every level.
