An Environmental Awareness Walk was organized for the BBA-4 Environmental Sciences course at SZABIST University Islamabad under the supervision of Iffat Rasool. The activity aimed to raise awareness among students about environmental protection and climate responsibility through active participation and community engagement.

The walk was designed as an experiential learning initiative aligned with SDG 13: Climate Action, encouraging students to advocate for sustainability and environmentally responsible behavior. Participants carried messages promoting climate awareness, eco-friendly practices, and the importance of collective action in addressing environmental challenges.

Through this activity, students gained a practical understanding of environmental stewardship and reflected on their role in contributing to a more sustainable future. The initiative helped bridge classroom learning with real-world environmental advocacy, reinforcing the importance of individual and collective responsibility toward nature.

The Environmental Awareness Walk also fostered a sense of civic engagement and environmental consciousness among students, motivating them to adopt sustainable practices in their daily lives and encourage others within their communities to do the same.

This initiative reflects SZABIST Islamabad’s commitment to promoting sustainability education, experiential learning, and active participation in global environmental goals.
