Effective communication skills – Seminar

Effective communication skills are vital in both personal and professional settings, facilitating clear understanding, fostering positive relationships, and driving success. Recognizing the need for time for soft skills Dr. Iffat Rasool and Ms. Farah Khawaja (V.F) organized a seminar on “Effective communication skills” on Saturday 11th May 2024 for the students of BBA SZABIST University Islamabad.

The main objective of the session was to foster stronger interpersonal relationships by promoting empathy, trust, and mutual understanding through effective communication.

The guest speaker Mr. Muhammad Husayn Manager of Leadership Development at ZONES Islamabad provided tips to communicate in different contexts and involved the students in exercises of verbal and non-verbal cues, active listening, and message reception. Overall students fully participated and appreciated the efforts of the department.
