The Department of Management Sciences at SZABIST University Islamabad successfully concluded its professional certification program, “Data Analytics for Business Decision Making Using Python,” providing participants from academia and industry with a practical learning experience focused on modern business analytics and data-driven decision-making.

The intensive full-day certification was led by Dr. Syed Shafqat Mukarram, Assistant Professor of Business Analytics, who served as the trainer, while Mr. Muhammad Naeem, Senior Lecturer in Finance, served as the moderator. The session was designed to develop participants’ practical understanding of how Python and data analytics can be applied to solve contemporary business challenges.

Throughout the training, participants explored the practical applications of Python for data analytics, business intelligence, data visualization, predictive analysis, and evidence-based decision-making. Real-world business case studies were incorporated into the learning process, enabling participants to understand how analytical tools can transform complex data into meaningful insights and support better organizational decisions.

The hands-on approach allowed participants to strengthen their analytical capabilities while gaining exposure to modern techniques used across business and management environments. The event was further attended by Dr. Iffat Rasool, Associate Professor, Department of Management Sciences, as part of the department’s faculty capacity-building initiative.
