Students of the BS Business Administration (BSBA) program at SZABIST University Islamabad participated in an educational visit to Lincoln Corner Islamabad on 4 June 2026. The visit was organized to provide students with exposure to innovative learning environments, emerging technologies, and global educational opportunities. The activity was conducted under the supervision of Saba Butt, who encouraged students to actively engage in the diverse learning experiences offered at the center.
Lincoln Corner Islamabad, established through a collaboration between the United States Educational Foundation in Pakistan and the U.S. Embassy in Pakistan, serves as a hub for education, innovation, leadership development, entrepreneurship, and cross-cultural learning. During the visit, students explored a variety of educational resources, digital learning platforms, and youth engagement initiatives designed to support academic and professional growth.
A major highlight of the visit was an immersive Virtual Reality (VR) experience, where students interacted with emerging technologies by creating two-dimensional objects and visualizing them within a three-dimensional environment. This hands-on activity enabled participants to experience the practical applications of virtual reality while enhancing their creativity, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
The experiential session was facilitated by Maria Javed, who guided students through interactive VR activities and demonstrated how innovative technologies are transforming education and learning. Students gained valuable insights into the role of technology in fostering engagement, collaboration, and innovation across various disciplines.
The visit was further enriched by Maimoon, Coordinator of Lincoln Corner Islamabad, who introduced students to the wide range of opportunities available through the center, including leadership programs, entrepreneurship initiatives, educational resources, and access to advanced learning technologies. She appreciated the students’ enthusiasm and active participation and expressed interest in future collaborations with SZABIST Islamabad to promote meaningful learning experiences.
The visit provided students with an inspiring platform to engage with innovation, technology, and global learning opportunities while reinforcing the importance of experiential education in preparing future business professionals and leaders for a rapidly evolving world.
