The Department of Management Sciences at SZABIST University Islamabad organized an industrial visit to Haidri Beverages Rawalpindi  for students of MBA and EMBA (Supply Chain Management). The visit was designed to provide students with practical exposure to supply chain operations, production management, quality control systems, and industry best practices.

The students received a warm welcome from the management team at Haidri Beverages. During the introductory session, Ms. Ayesha, Ms. Aeman, and Ms. Mahnoor provided an overview of the organization’s history, operational structure, supply chain framework, and sales and marketing strategies. The session enabled students to understand how effective supply chain management supports business performance and customer satisfaction.

As part of the visit, students toured the production facility and observed the complete manufacturing process. Mr. Adnan delivered a detailed briefing on the end-to-end production cycle, operational workflows, and quality management practices implemented at Haidri Beverages. The hands-on exposure allowed participants to connect theoretical concepts learned in the classroom with real-world industrial applications.

The visit highlighted the importance of collaboration between academia and industry in preparing future business leaders and supply chain professionals. Students gained valuable insights into production planning, logistics, operational efficiency, and quality assurance processes that contribute to successful manufacturing operations.

The initiative was highly appreciated by Shazia Akhtar, Head of the Department of Management Sciences, who emphasized the significance of experiential learning in enhancing students’ professional competencies and industry awareness.
